Money News http://www.moneynews.co.uk the financial news Website has appointed web analytics agency WebtraffIQ http://www.webtraffiq.com to measure its online marketing and PR.
The move comes after adding a Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed to its service, and the increase of online marketing and public relations activity to be undertaken by Elemental Communications.
Dan Winchester, founder of Money News explains, "With the increased digital activity we will be undertaking and it coming through a variety of new media channels, it is essential to measure performance to benchmark the progress made to base further decisions on action to be taken. It is important to use a product that is flexible to manage the range of targeted activity Elemental Communications will be managing for Money News."
Marcos Richardson, European director comments, "WebtraffIQ will measure paid search marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), the Money News RSS feed along with online PR. Many website owners are more informed now, and are employing more progressive digital marketing strategies to connect with their target audiences. WebtraffIQ enables Money News to monitor measure and analyse data more easily and present it so that they can make informed real-time business and marketing decisions."
"Possessing experience within the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) financial sectors with campaigns such as Esure's Calm Down Dear and the Reuters Business Insight website enabled us to implement Money News' web analytics easily, added Richardson.
"As online financial news property is it important to keep track of niche digital media techniques such as online PR, SEO PR and content placement via RSS management. Web analytics enables us to keep a focus on our objectives and react to the campaigns in a more intuitive way." concludes Winchester.
The WebtraffIQ and Money News deal was brokered by Elemental Communications, the integrated media communications consultancy. The Money News digital marketing and PR campaigns commence in the second week of January 2006.
